Katelynn M. Rogers was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. Her photographs explore the crossroads of maternal loss, generational trauma, and environmental decay. Inspired by mythologies of oral storytelling and the study of dreams, Rogers’ work questions the way violence remains in the collective unconscious long after its initial impact. Her practice interweaves somatic gestures and raw documentations of landscapes interwoven with violence

She received her BA in Fine Art Photography at Columbia College Chicago in 2022, and is currently finishing MFA in Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work has been exhibited in two group exhibitions in 2024.
